17th December 2012, when I was in the third grade of junior high school, I and my friend decided to go to the Old Town as our recreation before the final exam and take the pictures for our memories album. We went at 8 am by 106 public transportation (Parung-lebak bulus). An hour ago and we arrived at Lebak Bulus buss station and we continued our journey by bus way, the bus way transited in cempaka putih and stopped in Old Town bus way terminal. We arrived Old City at 10:00 am.
Our first destination was Fatahillah Museum, we just brought 3 cameras and 1 handycamp to documented all of our activities. There were so many antique objects, such as : the origin of Chinese ceramics collection , swords collection , jars made of clay collection, beds collection , chairs collection , betawi musical instruments collection , betawi traditional wedding clothes collections , paintings collection , sculptures collection , and other collections . I had taken pictures under Hermes statue , " Si Jagur " replica , and etc . After that we went to the women's and men’s prison in underground , there was a long large chain and there was a miracle heavy stone. When we were going out from the prison, we met American tourists and we took pictures together and we talked each other for a while. Then we took a rest, we bought Jakarta’s foods and drinks.
Our second direction was Wayang Museum, we went there on foot. After arrived there, my teacher asked me to buy tickets and my friends took the pictures. After we got the tickets, we came in to the museum and there were so many giant puppets collection. One of my friends had idea to record the journey from the first until the end. We saw the puppets collection from various regions and countries and there were gamelan instruments. Finally we decided to get out from the museum because we were tired. Before we got out, we saw ondel-ondel were dancing and ondel-ondel was greeted and shook hands with us one by one. There were many jakarta souvenirs’ sellers in front of the museum and I bought them. The next destination was Bank Mandiri museum, but before we continued our journey, we have dhuhur prayer firstly. We prayed in the Baitul Amanah prayer-house. After that we went to Mrs. Amanda’s Restaurant for lunch. We chose our food menul and did not forget to pay by ourselves. After had lunch we went to the Bank Mandiri museum, the distance between restaurant and Bank Mandiri Museum is approximately 600 M, we went there on foot. Our trip was stopped by the dumplings seller, we bought it and we ate it quickly, then we continued the journey. After we walked about 20 minutes we arrived at the Museum Bank Mandiri.
We must put our bag in the locket, because it waw forbidden to bring bags into the museum . We just paid 2000 for the tickets. After that we came in to the museum and we we saw the beautiful stained glass , old-fashioned teller desks , antique typewriters, old ledger transaction records and to the extent that there was couples pre- Wedding pictures.
